Essex compete in both the Senior and Masters level at Inter County Squash each year. The Inter County Championships is the largest competition that we run with more than 2,000 players representing their counties in 22 categories throughout the season across senior, masters and junior categories. Dependent upon which category, there can be multiple divisions, from Premier to Division 2.
The Senior Championship 2024 finals were played in Nottingham in April 2024 and the results were:
Men’s Senior: 5th Place in Premier Division
Women’s Senior: 5th Place in Division One
The Masters Championships provide competitive opportunities for players beyond club level in a team environment, and the opportunity to represent their county.
The 2024 Results are as follows:
Men’s Over 35’s: 1st Place – qualified for Finals.
Men’s Over 45’s: 2nd Place – qualified for Stage 2 Playoff.
Men’s Over 55’s: 2nd Place – qualified for Finals.
Men’s Over 65’s: 3rd Place – qualified for Stage 2 Playoff.
Women’s Over 40’s: Qualified for Finals.
Women’s Over 40’s: Qualified for Finals.
The Finals will be played in Wolverhampton & Stourbridge over the weekend of 18/19 May.
